Vanishmod
This Forge/NeoForge mod provides players (by default only server administrators) with the ability to become invisible to other participants. The main function is activated through the /vanish command or its shortened version /v.
When a player uses the invisibility mode, they completely disappear from player lists, become invisible and inaudible, do not trigger world events (such as activating sculk sensors), and their chat messages and announcements are blocked. Simply put, invisible players become practically undetectable to others.
The mod offers extensive configuration options through the server configuration file, where you can disable some standard features or activate experimental capabilities. Be sure to explore the available options!
Main Commands:
- /v — activate or deactivate invisibility mode for yourself
- /v toggle
— toggle invisibility mode for the specified player - /v get
— check the invisibility status of another player - /v help — get complete information about all available subcommands
Note on sound suppression**: By default, the mod includes an indirect sound suppression system that blocks any sounds related to the invisible player. Sometimes this may lead to suppression of extra sounds, so this function can be disabled in the settings. Also, some sounds (such as dispenser activation) may not be blocked due to weak connection with the source, so be careful when interacting with the world.
The mod uses many mixins, so errors are possible. If you encounter a problem, report it in the issue tracker on the project's GitHub.
Vanishmod requires installation only on the server.
