Vault Hunters Jewel Sorting - Organized Vault Hunters Treasures

Finally, organized storage! This client-side helper mod solves the problem of chaotic placement of treasures and gear in your inventories after automatic sorting.

What does this mod do?

The mod integrates with popular storage systems:

It doesn't add anything new to the game, only improves sorting mechanisms for Vault Hunters items.

Item types and sorting methods

Jewel Sorting

Jewels can be sorted by:

• Name - by display name (useful for Quark, RS and backpacks)
• Attribute - by attribute type (only for jewels with one attribute)
• Attribute Value - by numerical attribute value
• Size - by jewel dimensions
• Level - by jewel level
• Attribute Weight - by ratio of attribute value to size

Gear Sorting

Gear (except tools) can be sorted by:

• Name - by display label
• Level - by item level
• Rarity - by rarity classification or rare item pool
• State - whether the item is identified or not
• Model - by gear appearance

Inscription Sorting

Inscriptions can be sorted by:

• Name - by display name
• Rooms - by number of rooms or name of a single room
• Completion - by completion degree
• Time - by added time
• Instability - by added instability

Standard sorting (without customization):

• Augments → by theme
• Faceted Focuses → by modifiers
• Relic Fragments → by set/name

Flexible Configuration

A configuration file /configs/vault_hunters_jewel_sorting.toml is created, allowing full control over sorting priorities for each item type. Perfectly combines with mods that allow config changes directly in-game.

Important Features

• Server limitations: Inventory sorting through Quark and Sophisticated Backpacks requires mod installation on server
• Digital storage works with client-side installation only
• Anti-freezing: When holding Shift, sorting disables to prevent micro-freezes during mass loading into RS/AE2

Compatibility and Requirements

Required:

• Official Vault Hunters mod 1.18.2 - 3rd Edition

The mod is archived and won't receive updates beyond version u16, but remains fully functional for compatible packs.
