VaultLootBeams

This mod is an adapted version of the popular Loot Beams addon, specifically created for use with the VaultHunters 3rd Edition modpack. It's worth noting that many of the features presented here were ported from the original mod for newer game versions, so the author doesn't claim full originality in their implementation.

Main Features

Colored Item Beams

Configured items lying on the ground will display with colored beams emanating from them. These beams have numerous customizable parameters for complete appearance customization.

Display Settings

You can adjust beam rendering distance (from 0 to 1024 blocks), require items to be specifically on the ground rather than in the air, and configure automatic determination of beam display necessity through conditions and item lists.

Visual Parameters

Fine-tuning of beam appearance is available: radius (0-5), height (up to 10), vertical offset, transparency (0-1), presence of white central beam and colored shadow. You can also choose one of three rendering modes: glowing (default), beacon texture, or solid colors.

Color System

Beam colors can be determined in various ways: static white, item name color, rarity color, or their combination. There's also the ability to create custom color schemes for specific items through the ColorGroup system.

Additional Effects

The mod supports particles around beams with customizable size, speed, spread, and quantity. Nameplates displaying item names, which can show the name, quantity, and item rarity, are also available. There's the option to play sounds when items fall.

Vault Hunters Integration

The mod includes built-in integration with The Vault mod, automatically configuring beams for various Vault Hunters items, including augments, blessings, potions, vault crystals, and much more.

Configuration

All settings are stored in a JSON file that can be edited directly or through the in-game configuration editor. The system supports complex item conditions and flexible element lists.

Optimizations

This version of the mod contains numerous bug fixes and optimizations ensuring stable operation without performance loss.
