Veneficium

Veneficium is a magic mod inspired by the game Noita, offering players incredible freedom in spell creation. The mod is written in Kotlin, so Fabric Language Kotlin is required for it to work.

The core concept of the mod is creating spells from individual components. You can combine up to 9 different elements that will execute sequentially in the specified order.

It's important to understand that each component performs a strictly defined function. For example, the "Damage Entity" component will only damage the target it's directed at—a separate targeting component is needed for aiming.

Some elements are blocking—they halt spell execution until their action is complete. This includes, for example, "Bounce," which requires the spell to bounce off a surface first.

For comfortable work with the "Weaving" system (a special crafting mechanic), it's highly recommended to install REI.


Setting Up the Weaving System

To create a working weaving area, arrange 5 Weave Focuses in a cross pattern with 2 blocks distance between them. The central focus should be surrounded by four others: two vertically and two horizontally with a 2-block gap.

Example arrangement:

W [ ] [ ] [ ] W

[ ] [ ] W [ ] [ ]

W [ ] [ ] [ ] W

Where "W" represents a Weave Focus, and "[ ]" represents any other block.

All focuses must have direct access to the sky.
