Vibes
The Vibes mod introduces a unique item called Vibe that allows you to enjoy music from discs while traveling through the Minecraft world, without the need for a traditional jukebox.
A key feature of Vibe is intelligent sound positioning. When you place an active Vibe in a chest, the sound source automatically moves to that chest's location. This functionality works not only with regular chests but with all types of vanilla containers: minecarts with chests, shulker boxes, and even item frames.
If you drop Vibe on the ground, the sound source follows the item entity, and when you pick Vibe back into your inventory, the sound returns to your character.
An additional feature is docking Vibe into a jukebox (simply right-click as with a regular disc), which significantly increases the sound propagation range!
Crafting
To craft Vibe, you'll need 1 jukebox and 4 iron ingots.
Usage
The mechanics of working with Vibe largely resemble using a bundle.
Playing Discs
- Take Vibe in hand
- Hover cursor over music disc
- Right-click the disc while holding Vibe
Ejecting Discs
- Take Vibe in hand
- Right-click an empty inventory slot
Compatibility
The mod is fully compatible with other mods that add new music discs to the game, allowing you to listen to your favorite music from various mods during your adventures.
