Viewpoint

Viewpoint is a simplified version of the Perspective mod, retaining only the most demanded features - zoom and perspective hold functionality.

Installation Requirements

For proper operation, the mod requires Fabric API or Quilted Fabric API (QFAPI) with support for the following modules:

• fabric-key-binding-api-v1
• fabric-lifecycle-events-v1

Minimum Java version required is 21 or newer. Development was conducted on Microsoft build of OpenJDK 21.0.2.

Zoom Functionality

• Logarithmic and linear zoom scales
• Smooth and instant transitions
• Customizable mouse and field of view effects
• Cinematic mouse mode

Perspective Holding

• Temporary perspective switching while holding a key
• Distance multiplier settings

• Changing viewing angles using hotkeys

Panoramic Screenshots Unlike the original Perspective, this mod doesn't save screenshots as a resource pack

Information Overlays

Version - Display of current version in the top left corner of the screen, similar to beta Minecraft versions

Position - Show current coordinates in Bedrock Edition style

Time - Display of current time in the same format as coordinates

Day - Day counter in identical style

Biome - Name of the current biome

Deaths - Player's death count

Totems - Remaining totem usage count

CPS - Current clicks per second

Looking At - Display of the block or entity name the player is looking at

Armor - Armor slots panel next to the hotbar
