Villa la Revolution
A small mod for global changes to villagers and illagers mechanics, adding elements that Minecraft developers ignored.
Important note: The mod reveals its full potential when used together with the experimental datapack from Mojang that rebalances villager trading. Unfortunately, connecting this datapack to an already created world is associated with difficulties that the mod author cannot influence.
Key features
Fletching table
The fletching table becomes a full-fledged workspace with a graphical interface:
- Crafting arrows from appropriate resources with a 50% output bonus
- Creating spectral arrows when adding glowstone
- Making tipped arrows using potions
Totem balancing
Evokers no longer drop totems of undying — they can now only be found in woodland mansions. This completely eliminates totem farming during raids.
Woodland mansions
Woodland mansions become real bastions of villains — they are now inhabited exclusively by pillagers, illusionists and witches.
Cartographer maps
Cartographers timely update their treasure maps — each purchased map leads to a new structure.
Iron golems
Villagers now remember encountering a golem for 5 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Significantly slows down the respawn rate of iron golems and the efficiency of iron farms.
Trading system
Villager trades do not reset if they haven't communicated with other villagers for 5 minutes. This approach makes building special trading halls with villagers trapped in tiny cages ineffective.
Almost all of the above settings can be disabled in the configuration file, except for the changed population of woodland mansions — this function is implemented through a datapack and cannot be edited.
