Vivecraft Forge Extensions - Server Extensions
Attention: Starting from Minecraft version 1.20, the functions of this mod are integrated into the main Forge/Fabric version. It now installs only on servers and does not require installation on clients. This mod is no longer updated.
This is a special extension for servers, providing administrators with tools to manage the capabilities of players in virtual reality. The main Vivecraft client component is available as a separate installer or as an experimental mod based on Mixin.
Standard Server Problems
On regular servers, VR players face limitations:
- VR animations are not supported - players appear as regular characters
- Teleportation may be blocked, causing return to the original position
- Arrows and projectiles appear at face level, not the controller
- Character's gaze direction does not match VR headset direction
- Endermen attack based on crosshair, not gaze direction
- Creepers attack at standard distance without considering roomscale combat
Extension Capabilities
The mod adds the following settings for server administrators:
- Restrict access to VR players only
- Different login messages for VR and regular players
- Damage multiplier settings for bows in different game modes
- Disable PvP between different player types
- Control over ClimbeyMotion climbing system usage
- Permission for automatic transition to crawling mode
- Limit teleportation distance or complete disablement
- Control over world scaling on the client
