Walk, Jog, Run!
This mod fundamentally changes the movement system in Minecraft, adding realistic walking and stamina mechanics that replace the standard exhaustion from running.
Slow Walking
Players now have the ability to switch between three movement modes. By default, the ALT key is used to change modes, but this can be configured to personal preferences.
Movement speeds are distributed as follows (all values are configurable):
- Walking: 0.07 (30% slower than normal)
- Jogging: 0.1 (standard speed)
- Sprint: 0.13 (30% faster, normal sprint speed)
An indicator is displayed on the interface next to the quick access bar, showing the current movement mode - walking, jogging, or sprinting.
Stamina System
Sprinting now works differently. Instead of directly consuming hunger, a separate stamina bar is used. When this bar is completely depleted, the player receives a temporary slowness effect until stamina is restored.
The hunger level determines the maximum stamina reserve - the more satiated the character, the longer they can run.
Stamina level can be tracked in two ways:
- Through a special indicator that fills as stamina is consumed
- By changes in the hunger bar outline, which becomes more transparent when using stamina
