Wall-Jump! UNOFFICIAL

If you've found your way to this page, you might be wondering: why create another fork when other ports of this modification already exist? The answer is simple - existing solutions are only partial transfers of the Forge version. Our project is a full-scale port created on the Architectury architecture for Fabric with various bug fixes and gradual addition of new features as ideas emerge.

What Sets This Version Apart

Unlike the original ports for Fabric and Forge, this modification offers:

• Key binding support for wall jumping in Fabric and Quilt
• Completely redesigned configuration system through Cloth Config API
• Integration with mod menu
• Additional configuration settings
• Ability to add blocks to blacklist through settings
• Server configuration synchronization through data packets
• Potentially new features in the future

Main Functionality

Now wall-to-wall platforming is available in Minecraft! The modification adds three key mechanics to the game:

Wall Jumps: Jump towards a wall and hold the wall jump key (default: LSHIFT). Then continue holding W and release the wall jump key to perform the jump.

Wall Cling: When approaching a wall, you can hold onto it by pressing the corresponding key.

Double Jump: An additional mid-air jump that can be used for various tricks and maneuvers.

Configuration Settings

The modification offers extensive options for fine-tuning gameplay:

• Adjustment of wall jump height and distance
• Enable/disable double jump system (enabled by default)
• Ability to climb using a single wall
• Setting minimum height for fall damage
• Speed bonuses during ground sprinting and gliding
• Enable enchantment system through configuration
• Wall clinging during elytra flight
• Classic wall jump control system for fans of the original version
• Blacklist of blocks you cannot jump from
• Adjustment of exhaustion during wall jumps and double jumps
• And much more!

Important Information

This modification requires installation of the following dependencies:

• CLOTH CONFIG
• ARCHITECTURY API
• FABRIC API (for Fabric version)
• QSL (for Quilt version)

Note: This version is not client-side only and requires installation on the server for proper functioning. For users who need exclusively client-side version with removed networking and server code, there is a special build in the project repository.
