Warped Potions
The name "Warped Potions" might be somewhat misleading, as the main feature here is not the potion itself but its unique teleportation effect. This mod allows you to instantly return to the location where you drank the potion or received the corresponding effect, making it an indispensable tool for exploration and an excellent means of confusing opponents.
Teleportation Effect
The Warping effect saves your current position when first applied and automatically teleports you back when the effect ends. There are several ways to remove the effect: using the /effect clear command, drinking a bucket of milk, natural expiration of the effect duration, or receiving a new instance of the effect through another potion or item. It's important to note that teleportation won't work if you're in a different dimension from where you received the effect.
Items with Teleportation Effect
Warped Pearl
This item is crafted from one Ender Pearl and one Warped Fungus. When thrown, it immediately applies the teleportation effect for 7.5 seconds. The key point: the effect activates at the moment of throwing, not when the pearl lands. If the flight takes more than 7.5 seconds, teleportation won't occur. Perfect for quick attacks in PVP or lightning-fast raids for treasures in bastions. Like regular Ender Pearls, Warped Pearls can be stacked in groups of 16.
Warped Fruit
To create this fruit, you need one Chorus Fruit, sugar, and a Warped Fungus. When consumed, it provides 15 seconds of teleportation effect, making it an excellent alternative to the potion when you don't need much time and want to avoid the complex brewing process. Particularly useful when visiting dangerous places where you can't stay long. Since this is a food item, you can feed it to mobs like foxes - the effect works on them too! It's amusing to watch a fox about to pounce on a chicken but suddenly teleport away.
Potion of Warping
Creation
The Potion of Warping is brewed from an Awkward Potion with the addition of one of the two warped items added by this mod. The base potion lasts 1 minute - perfect for splash potions, lingering potions, or tipped arrows to confuse enemies or throw pursuers off your trail. Adding Redstone Dust increases the duration to 15 minutes - great for visiting friends when you need to quickly deliver something and return. A Block of Redstone added to the minute-long potion extends the effect to 1 hour for short adventures, while a Redstone Lamp increases this to 3 hours for lengthy expeditions. If you're on the verge of death with an active effect, simply drink milk to instantly return to safety.
Important Warnings
Due to the peculiarities of displaying potion effect durations in the inventory, any effect lasting more than 25 minutes will appear as ":". Thus, for the two longest potions, you won't be able to accurately determine the remaining time until about 25 minutes are left.
It's extremely important to be in the same dimension where you received the effect when its duration is about to end. If you're in a different dimension, teleportation won't work, and you might find yourself in a difficult situation.
