Feature Overview

WATERCoRE serves as a fundamental modification backbone for Forge-based servers, providing access to a wide range of features previously available only in plugins like EssentialsX, PlaceholderAPI, and AuctionHouse. Now you can abandon awkward solutions for running plugins and mods simultaneously - the mod completely replaces the need for such auxiliary software.

Chat and Display Functions

• Customizable connection and disconnection messages - personalize player join/leave notifications
• Flexible chat formatting - create unique communication styles for your server
• LuckPerms integration - display prefixes and suffixes from the permission system directly in the game chat

Teleportation and Movement

• Quick navigation commands: spawn and lobby for instant return to the starting position
• Return system: back command for returning to the previous location after teleportation
• Additional "lobby" dimension with flat landscape and customizable respawn point

Additional Spaces

• Special event dimension - build holiday constructions without risking your main world
• Expansion of vanilla dimensions - additional game spaces to expand possibilities (recommended with CosmoPortals)

Administration

• Useful tools for admins - specialized items and management commands
• Widecast command - message distribution with unique formatting (operators only)
• Main watercore command provides various server management utilities

Technical Performance Improvements

WATERCoRE includes optimizations for stable operation:

• Memory leak elimination in Minecraft and SpongeMixin mechanisms
• Fast language and MipMap settings switching without complete resource reloading
• Enhanced crash diagnostics with information about used mixins in crash reports
• Compatibility fixes for FancyMenu (interface element editing capability) and SimpleLogin (proper password screen operation)

Compatibility and Limitations

Incompatible mods:

• Saturn (duplicates WATERCoRE functionality)
• Corail Tombstone (completely unsupported)
• MemoryLeakFix (functionality already included in WATERCoRE)
• FTB Ranks (compatible with chat formatting disabled)
• FTB Essentials (works with overlapping commands deactivated)

Configuration and Management

Mod configuration files are located in the world folder: world/serverconfig. Minimal development requirements allow intensive server modification without performance issues.

Note: Development of the next major version 2.0 is at the final stage.
