[LEGACY] Drip Sounds (Forge)

Note: This project has been succeeded by the new version Drip Sounds, which supports both Fabric and (Neo)Forge.

About the Mod

A Minecraft Forge mod that adds sound effects for drip particles and introduces other related gameplay changes.

Key Features

• Plays splash sound when water drops land
• Adds a new sizzling sound for falling lava drops
• Ability to configure the spawn rate of drip particles
• In versions 1.17+, water and lava drip sounds use stalactite sounds by default, with an option to revert to old sounds (as in 1.16)

Installation Details

This mod is client-side, so it doesn't need to be installed on the server to function.

Note: If you're not using stalactite sounds, the custom lava drop sizzle sound only works in multiplayer when the server also has the mod installed. This issue will be fixed in future versions.

Requirements

Requires Cloth Config installation for proper configuration screen functionality.

Compatibility

The mod can be freely used in modpacks, though full compatibility hasn't been thoroughly tested.

Other mods shouldn't conflict unless they perform unusual manipulations with splash particles.
