Meeting Your Guide

A spiritual companion with ancient power will help you discover the most interesting biomes in a highly organic manner that perfectly blends with vanilla gameplay.

How to Get Started

Wayfinder sanctuaries are located in villages. To summon the companion, offer several emeralds. Each player can have their personal assistant who will become a faithful companion between biome searches. Remember — this is an ancient deity, not an ordinary pet!

Exploration Process

Right-click your new friend, and in the right part of the interface, you'll see all biomes of the current dimension. Select the desired type and click "Search". If no such biome is found within a 10,000 block radius, the guide will shake its head — you'll need to choose another option. When the target is found, Wayfinder will proceed to the designated location.

During travel, it may teleport back to the owner if it moves too far away. To interrupt the route, use the "Cancel" button in the interface. There's a brief cooldown between searches for energy recovery.

Protecting Your Guide

The spiritual assistant is hunted by projectile-based mobs: skeletons, pillagers, witches, and others. Upon detecting nearby danger, the companion enters a panic state — reaching your goal is only possible by eliminating the enemies. When taking damage, a shield is created that absorbs the next two instances of damage. Once broken, the assistant becomes vulnerable to death.

Heal your companion using glowberries.

Re-summoning

If the guide dies, it can be resurrected at the sanctuary, but the cost will be twice the previous amount. Starting price is 1 emerald, then 2, 4, 6, 12, 24 — maximum up to 64 units. You won't let that happen, right?
