Weapon Master

The Weapon Master mod offers a completely new approach to weapon creation and melee combat in Minecraft. You get complete freedom in creating modular weapons with unique appearance and functionality.
The system includes four different weapon types suitable for various playstyles, level progression, and the ability to unlock unique hand-drawn cosmetic parts. As you develop, your character will become a true weapon master capable of stylishly dealing with hordes of enemies.
Getting Started

Progress in Weapon Master is entirely focused on using your weapon. No additional materials are required for creation and improvement - just the basic kit and studio. Despite the mod containing only 8 items, it offers over 3.5 billion combinations of parts and abilities.
On first launch, you'll receive an in-game tutorial in the form of a Blueprint Binder - a compact guide that quickly explains all the basic mechanics.
Known Compatibility Issues

Internal Issues:
- Third-person animations may break in multiplayer when multiple players use this mode but one isn't holding a weapon. This issue will be fixed in the next update.
Optifine:
- Some shaders work fine. Problems occur only with Optifine. If shaders break rendering in the Studio, try a different option.
Better Combat / Epic Fight:
- Hit detection system breaks, making weapons useless due to mixin conflicts. For Better Combat, you can add "*|weaponmaster" or specific weapon IDs to the internal blacklist/fallback file to make both mods work together. Epic Fight doesn't have this option and is completely incompatible.
YDM's Weapon Master:
- The same mod ID was accidentally used, and now changing it without losing backward compatibility is impossible.
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can the mod be ported to older versions? A: No, this is technically very difficult to implement.
Q: Will there be updates for new versions? A: Yes, we're gradually porting the mod to modern versions. Please be patient - only 2 people work on the project.
Q: Can I create a translation or addon for the mod? A: Usually yes. You can create resource packs and addons if you don't reupload the mod itself to other sites. For addons, it's recommended to contact the developers to create necessary tools.
Q: Can you add [X] feature to the mod? A: Probably not - we have an internal list of planned additions and we're quite busy with other projects.
Future Development

Weapon Master was created by ForsetCabiri and DesianSkies in their free time while working on their own game. The mod represents many modular systems we value and is inspired by games and other mods we enjoy. Although it has second priority, we will support and update it for a long time.
