The Wearable Backpacks mod adds unique backpacks to Minecraft that are different from anything you've seen before. This continues the tradition of backpacks from BetterStorage, offering a beautifully balanced and stylish alternative!

What Makes This Mod Special?

One and Only One! Unlike other mods that allow carrying multiple backpacks at once, here you can only have one. This concept is inherited from its predecessor, but the lack of convenience is compensated by charm and flexible settings.

Protection or Storage? By default, the backpack occupies the chest armor slot, providing protection like leather armor but forcing you to choose between safety and additional storage space. This feature can be disabled if desired.

Play Together, Share Items! A backpack on your back looks cool, but what if other players could look inside? Now it's possible! Friends can open your backpack and take necessary items during joint adventures - of course, only if you turn your back to them.

Death is Fun! Tired of losing valuable items when carelessly falling into lava? Don't worry - the backpack's contents will remain safe. Although the backpack itself can be destroyed by explosions or other players, after death it will gently land on the ground near the death location, ready for retrieval.

Dyeing is Pleasure! Backpacks can be dyed using Minecraft's standard dyeing system. Unlike some limited mods, here you can mix dyes and create any colors to your taste!

Customization for Your Playstyle Not sure if the mod fits your playstyle? Wearable Backpacks offers extensive settings through a convenient in-game configuration menu. This allows perfect balancing of backpacks for any type of gameplay - from small builds to massive modpacks.

How to Use

Backpacks work as portable chests that can be worn. After crafting a backpack, place it on the ground and fill it with needed items. Then sneak and break the backpack to equip it - you'll notice that equipping happens faster than normal breaking.

When the backpack is on your back, you can unequip it by sneaking and right-clicking the ground with an empty hand (on the top of a solid block).

You can also configure opening the backpack using a hotkey in the controls menu (default: B).

Additional Features

• The mod offers many easy-to-use settings through the "Mods" menu in the main menu or "Mod Options" in-game.
• Backpacks equipped as armor can be enchanted (except version 1.10 due to Forge limitations).
• Some mobs may occasionally spawn with backpacks containing random loot.
