Wheelchairs Mod

For a long time, Minecraft's cubic world lacked options for players with disabilities to see themselves represented in the game, as well as for roleplayers wanting to create characters with disabilities. Previously, the closest equivalents to wheelchairs were boats and minecarts, but their constant use limited key gameplay mechanics—travel through portals or sprinting.

This mod addresses this issue by offering a customizable vehicle—a wheelchair, designed for long-term use with minimal restrictions. Although some actions are more challenging in a wheelchair, almost everything available to a regular character remains accessible here. Wheelchairs support sprinting, teleportation, sneaking, flying, receiving beacon effects, and passing through portals.

Special attention is paid to ensuring the player is almost never separated from their mobility aid. When a character dies, the wheelchair respawns with them, even if the player switches to Spectator mode! The wheelchairs themselves are indestructible, although they can be damaged in item form.

Enhance the wheelchair with a chest for storage or install a furnace minecart to make it automatically follow the direction of your gaze using a controller! Finally, personalize the appearance by choosing the material and color of the seat and mixing and matching wheels to your liking!
