About the Mod
When Dungeons Arise is a massive dungeon generator that adds numerous diverse structures randomly appearing in your worlds to create exciting adventures and challenges. We've moved away from standard vanilla structures, creating impressive dungeons where you can get lost.
However, be careful when heading to a palace in search of valuable loot, and don't forget to land safely after storming a hostile airship. Dungeons will generate enemies to keep you away... at least until you're ready to navigate through countless dangerous corridors...
*This modification is under active development. New dungeons will be added in each update! ^^

What Awaits Us?
Diverse Structures
Random temples and palaces, fortresses and cities appear with various rooms and passages, along with custom loot tables. Various vanilla loot tables used by other mods are often utilized, meaning your progress in these dungeons will definitely help you advance in other mods focused on world exploration!
Other hostile structures like windmills or houses may also generate in your world, although they're quite easy to conquer... I think... Maybe?

Sea Adventures
Love the smell of gunpowder in the morning?
Hostile ships sail across the seven seas, carrying loot from gold nuggets to unheard-of treasures.

Air Structures
The sky holds its secrets: mysterious planes and airships wander aimlessly around the world, without a port to return to... yet? Most of them contain valuable redstone materials, though such loot is available not only in the skies but also in the dark alleys of hidden mines. I can't reveal all my secrets!

Other Structures
And of course, we must mention - or at least show - other types of structures... Mage towers, coliseums, tree houses...

And much more...
Some of these screenshots were originally taken in the Forge version, but all structures are the same.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this mod in my modpack? Yes! Just make sure to credit the authors. If possible, link back to this forum.
Do these dungeons generate if I add them to an already explored world? Yes. You'll need to explore further and load new chunks! Remember to save a backup of your world just in case.
What about Forge? A separate version for Forge is available.
Configuration? Versions 1.18.2+ use datapacks. You can download some of them here. If you want to remove flying structures, check this option. Everything can be configured using your own datapacks.
Credits
While most original structures of this mod were built by Aurelj, DiamondTown and Zephyrusj, we'd like to thank MercyWhistles and Wyll_ for allowing us to include some of their structures.
TelephaticGrunt's structure tutorial was used as reference material for internal parts of the mod. This is an amazing modding tutorial, and we couldn't have created this mod without some help.
Special thanks to @banananugetz for creating such a beautiful logo!
