Why Am I on Fire?

This mod works on both client and server. For optimal results, it's recommended to install it on both sides.

Functionality Features

On client side: Hides the fire overlay effect when the player has fire resistance or is in creative mode. If the character continues to burn but the fire resistance effect is about to expire or they're holding a bucket of milk, a warning fire effect will appear.

On server side: Physically removes fire from players with fire resistance or in creative mode. If the character is standing in lava or fire while the resistance effect is about to wear off or holding a bucket of milk, fire will reappear as a warning. In some situations, such as standing in a fire block, the fire effect may display for clients without this mod.

Configuration

Warning display: Available options: "Flash" (fire effect blinks twice per second), "Transparent" (shows semi-transparent fire effect), or "Disabled" (effect never appears).

Extinguish mobs: Enables/disables the server function of extinguishing mobs resistant to fire.

Modpack Usage

Can be freely used without additional permissions.
