Mod Wilder Wild transforms the Minecraft world by adding numerous new biomes, blocks, mobs, and mechanics that make exploration an exciting adventure.

Key Features

Biomes have been significantly expanded - your world now features Flooded Cypress Marshes with tall trees, mysterious Mesoglea Caves beneath the ocean, picturesque Oases in deserts, and numerous transition zones between existing biomes. Among the new locations, you'll find Arid Forests, Parched Forests, Maple Groves, Magnificent Dark Forests and much more.

Flora and fauna received major updates with baobabs, palms, cypresses, willows and maples. Intriguing milkweeds with fluffy pods appeared, various flowers from carnations to hibiscus, as well as toxic datura. Regular dandelions turned into fluffy seeding dandelions actively spreading seeds with the wind.

Dynamic world became more interactive with fireflies, crabs, ostriches, tumbleweed, tropical jellyfish, and scorched spiders. Termites now methodically clear wood, while regular forests gained attractive shrubs up to two blocks tall.

Intriguing gameplay mechanics include copper horns for creating wind music, display lanterns for storing items and fireflies, meteorological systems swaying particles and moving clouds, plus the new reach boost effect from crab claws.

Cave exploration became more engaging with armored stone chests in abandoned cabins, cave systems that cool down or overheat, creating frozen and magmatic ravines. The Warden learned to swim and displays more responsive reactions your movements.

New Biomes

Cypress Marshes

Flooded landscape completely covered with straight and curved marsh cypresses - perfect refuge for frogs, pigs and green insects that evaporate at sunrise.

Mesoglea Caves

These flooded crypts beneath the seabed shimmer with blue and pink domes of gelatinous tissue. Represent three-dimensional passages following Mesoglea. For nesting luminous aquatic creatures that can't survive outside their homes.

Oasis

The desert isn't as lifeless as it seems - large pools with bright palms, reeds and mossy banks form lush islands among sand dunes. Here one can find entire villages of local residents.

Key Interactions

Most vegetative elements can be obtained with shears. However, silk touch tools allow extracting algae, falling leaf litter and tumbleweed in their unbroken forms. Shears are particularly crucial when working with milkweed, prickly pears, glowing pollen and other delicate vegetation that's easily damaged.
