Winter Wonder Land
This mod adds one very important feature to Minecraft - realistic snow accumulation. When snowfall begins, snow gradually covers the ground, creating an atmosphere of real winter.
Particularly interesting is how the mod works during thunder snow - in such conditions, the rate of snow accumulation doubles, making the landscape even more wintery and picturesque.
By default, snow can accumulate up to the height of one block, but all parameters can be customized to your preferences through configuration:
- Accumulation Rate: Controls how quickly snow covers the surface
- Smoothing: Determines how many adjacent blocks must have the same snow level for accumulation to continue
- Snow Drift Size: Number of blocks by which the snow level increases around the snowfall location
- Max Snow Layers: Each snow block consists of 8 layers. Values above 8 are treated as multiple blocks
- Snow Melt Rate: Configures how quickly snow melts during warming
- Snow Min Layers: The level to which snow can melt. This prevents ground exposure in winter biomes even during extended periods without snowfall
