Witchery: Companion

Witchery: Companion is a supplementary mod for Witchery: Resurrected - an accurate recreation of the famous Witchery mod for Minecraft version 1.12.2. Although the main content of Witchery: Resurrected is almost complete, it contains numerous minor and serious errors that make it poorly suited for use in large modpacks.

This is where Witchery: Companion comes into play. Using Mixin technology, this mod fixes dozens of bugs, crashes, and glitches, while also adding integration with popular utilities like CraftTweaker, JEI, and Just Enough Resources.

The mod's development is actively ongoing, and its main goal is to make Witchery: Resurrected more stable and customizable for use in modpacks.

Key Features

Among the most significant fixes and improvements are:

• Fixing the altar disconnection error
• Fixing and improving the functionality of triggered dispersal brews (now they can be applied to tripwires and blocks!)
• Fixing the issue where familiars would forget their owners after world reload
• Eliminating the appearance of ghost entities when changing dimensions
• Integration with CraftTweaker for altar power sources, erosion brew behavior, cauldron heat sources, bark belt chargers, and much more
• Integration with JEI for displaying hobgoblin trades, imp shines, and gifts
• Integration with JER for numerous mobs and bosses
• Compatibility with The One Probe for altar, cauldron, hobgoblins, and imps
• Compatibility fixes and error corrections for other mods, including Morph, Quark, and Thaumcraft
• Fixing server freeze when enchanted broom is destroyed while riding it
• Fixing the loss of mystical branch knowledge after death
• Completely redesigned documentation using Patchouli, including a more comprehensive guide, links, additional information, numerous settings, and customization options for pack creators
• And about 80 more fixes and improvements

The mod requires Witchery: Resurrected and MixinBooter to function.
