With the Withered Bone Meal mod, this becomes reality!

How it works

Wither skeletons now drop Withered Bones, which can be used to create Withered Bone Meal. This material can also be crafted into decorative withered bone blocks.

Interactions with various objects:

Block replacement:

• Grass, mycelium, podzol, and rooted dirt turn into regular dirt
• Muddy mangrove roots transform into mud
• Flowers and tall flowers are replaced with wither roses

Ignored objects:

• Wither rose
• Crimson and warped roots
• Nether sprouts

Growth stimulation:

• Nether wart advances to the next growth stage (if not at maximum)

Bone meal functions:

• Nylium spreads roots, fungi, and nether sprouts
• Netherrack turns into nylium when nearby
• Fungi grow into huge fungi

Additional effects:

• Corals transform into dead variants
• Crops revert to previous growth stage (destroyed at maximum)
• Other plants are completely removed
