Wizardry - Fates

Wizardry - Fates is a compact but significantly gameplay-impacting addition to the Electroblob's Wizardry modification. It introduces the concept of elemental Disciplines - each representing magical mastery in a specific element available to the player.
Now with Reskillable support! Your spell power (Potency) will now grow along with the development of the Magic skill in Reskillable!
Main Features
Players can use spells with wands only from their Discipline (their elemental specialization). All other spells are available exclusively through spell scrolls (this feature can be disabled in settings). Starting from version 2.0.0, you can also cap the level of non-disciplinary spells, allowing any character to use, for example, all novice spells regardless of their element.
The main goal of this mod is to enhance the role-playing immersion in the Electroblob's Wizardry modification by forcing players to specialize in one or more elements. This is particularly useful for role-playing servers but also suitable for single-player gameplay.
Usage Scenarios
For Role-Playing Servers
If you already have a developed role-playing server with classes or are planning to create one, you can finely tune all Fates features for better integration of Electroblob's Wizardry into your modpack. Allow players to choose one or more disciplines, or one main and one or more level-capped secondary disciplines.
For Quest Modifications
When creating a quest modpack, you can disable the automatic acquisition of the Book of Fates and the dropping of Discipline Scrolls. Create a branching path or quest chain using mods like Better Questing that will reward the player with a Discipline Scroll or the Book of Fates! This allows creating an engaging path of becoming a wizard for players.
For Single-Player Gameplay
Enable the Book of Fates and choose your discipline at the beginning of the game. Achieve mastery in all elements by collecting Discipline Scrolls as you explore the world.
Recommendations for Single-Player Gameplay
For survival single-player gameplay, I recommend enabling the Book of Fates item in settings and the dropping of Discipline Scrolls. With this approach, when you first start a new world (or log into it), you will receive the Book of Fates, which allows you to choose your discipline, and then gradually collect all other elements as you explore the world and find additional Discipline Scrolls.
