WorldGuardRegionProtect

Starting from version 1.8.0.21, compatibility with Bukkit, Spigot, Folia, and other Paper forks is provided.

Java requirements: Beginning with version 1.0.3.21, Java 21 or higher is required. For users operating on Java 17+, a special 1.0.2.17 version is available.

What does this plugin represent?

This is not a replacement for WorldGuard, but an addition to it! If you're looking for current WorldGuard versions for new Minecraft releases, it's recommended to contact the official developers on EngineHub for dev builds.

Extended region protection

The plugin provides an additional security layer for regions created in WorldGuard. Even server operators cannot interact with protected zones without appropriate permissions.

Core functionality:

• Complete block protection: No one can place or break blocks in the protected area
• Transport protection: Regulated limitation of interactions with vehicles
• Decoration preservation: Paintings and frames (including glow frames in version 1.18+) are protected from damage by arrows, snowballs, eggs, tridents, and other items
• Invulnerable armor stands: Protection from damage and interaction with armor stands
• Restricted bucket usage: Prohibition on using any buckets inside the region

Anti-explosion protection:

• Complete protection from explosions by creepers, withers, ghasts, and activated TNT
• Immunity to projectile attacks from strays and shulkers
• Protection from damage caused by ender crystals, respawn anchors, and TNT minecarts

Command security:

• Prohibition of dangerous commands in protected regions
• Compatibility with FastAsyncWorldEdit and WorldEdit commands
• Blocking of flag changes and region deletions through commands such as: '/rg rem spawn', '/rg addowner spawn Steve' and similar

Flexible security settings:

Ability to create special zones within the protected region with permissions for block breaking or object placement (configured via config.yml).

Access management

Permissions:

• wgrp.regionprotect - main access to protected regions (for builders and staff)
• wgrp.command.wgrpbase - access to the main /wgrp command
• wgrp.command.reload - configuration reload
• wgrp.command.spy - administrator notifications about region interactions
• wgrp.notify.admin - alerts about attempted WE/WG command usage
• wgrp.command.addregion/wgrp.command.removeregion - management of protected region list

Important: Server operators do not have access to protected regions by default.

• /wgrp addregion [region] [world] - adding a region under protection
