Worn Horseshoes
Horses are often overlooked in Minecraft. This mod aims to change that by providing ways to enhance your mounts' capabilities through enchanted horseshoes and armor.
New Horse Features
Horseshoes: Game Changer
All horse types - regular horses, donkeys, mules, llamas, plus skeletal and zombie horses - now have a dedicated slot for horseshoes. These new items can be enchanted with most boot enchantments, though some modded enchantments might not be compatible.
Horseshoes are visually displayed on horse models with enchanted glow effects when enchanted. They significantly boost the animal's core attributes, increasing movement speed and jump power. A unique "Trampling" enchantment has been added specifically for horseshoes - while galloping, the horse knocks back and slightly damages enemies, similar to knockback effects.
Horseshoes can be obtained from leatherworker villagers or by encountering pre-shod horses in certain villages.
Enhanced Horse Armor
Horse armor is now enchantable using helmet and chestplate enchantments. The armor displays magical shimmer when enchanted. Item tooltips now show the armor protection value provided to the horse.
Configuration and Compatibility
The mod is fully customizable through configuration files. Compatible with custom horse armor from the BBLSOhMy mod.
