Immerse yourself in a completely new world of Minecraft, filled with diverse tameable dragons that inhabit beautiful uncharted lands. These territories await brave explorers ready to discover magic that goes beyond ordinary enchantment. This is Wyrmroost.

This mod adds many unique dragon species that can be tamed and used for various player needs. Whether you need a loyal battle companion, farming assistant, or means of transportation - there's a suitable dragon for every task.

However, be cautious: taming a dragon is not an easy task. To befriend these majestic creatures will require persistence and patience, with the difficulty of the process depending on the specific dragon species and circumstances.

Currently, only a few dragon species are implemented in the mod, but future updates plan to add eight different types. More detailed information about available in-game species can be found in the wiki.

Issues and Bug Reports

If you found something that looks incorrect, is probably an error, or is completely non-functional, please go to our GitHub to submit a report. Your bug reports are more likely to be noticed there than on the Discord server.

We know that in older versions of the mod, dragons cannot breed. We don't plan to return to version .16, however one user has created a fix:

How do I tame this dragon?

We have an official wiki that is updated only by developers.

Can you update/port the mod to ____ version?

Updating requires time. We try to maintain current versions of Minecraft, but please be patient.

We are looking toward the future, so porting the mod to older versions will never happen, and questions on this topic will remain unanswered.

Where is the dimension and what are your plans for its implementation?

The dimension is not yet added to the mod. It will become the next major update after transitioning to version 1.18.2.

We aim to create a dragon world with unique blocks, items, and most importantly, the dragons themselves. Although we cannot provide exact timelines, you can follow our progress on the Discord server where we are most active.

Can I use Wyrmroost in my modpack?

We don't mind our mod being used in modpacks.
