XyCraft: Override
Minecraft Visual Style Update
Base Minecraft offers many entertainment possibilities, but what if we slightly change its appearance to make it more modern? It's important to understand that the presented changes are not positioned as "better", "improved" or "superior" to the original - they simply create a more cohesive visual perception.
Main Features
The XyCraft Override mod completely reworks the appearance of standard blocks, adding the function to disable textures that are replaced to create connected surfaces. Dreamed of glass blocks that connect to each other without visible seams? Want glowing stone bricks in XyCraft style? This mod is made exactly for you!
Key Features:
- Replacement of original textures for several blocks with added connected texture effect, especially noticeable on glass
- Alternative versions of various blocks to expand decorative possibilities when designing your world
- Small visual improvements to mechanical blocks like the observer, which acquire more expressive appearance when activated
Planned Updates
Future Possibilities:
- Additional configuration settings for changing gameplay - for example, the ability to disable damage from magma blocks when walking (damage remains by default, but player can change it)
- Expansion of the list of blocks with connected textures, including both vanilla and modified variants
Known Issues
Temporary Problems:
- When activating additional Minecraft model files, an error in processing complex models by the loader may occur. When first enabled, a missing model may be displayed. Try reloading resources (F3+T) - this usually solves the problem. The error only appears during initial client loading, so subsequent game launches don't require repeated reloads. This is likely a temporary Forge/NeoForge error that will be fixed in future updates.
