YDM - Ygo Dueling Mod II
This Minecraft mod brings the exciting world of Yu-Gi-Oh! card game into three-dimensional space, creating an authentic collectible card game experience. Instead of simply adding cards, the mod recreates the entire pack opening system with real chances of obtaining rare cards.
Main Features
Players have access to various card variants that can be collected by opening special packs. Each pack corresponds to its real-life counterpart with exact rarities and drop probabilities. For dueling, two options are available: a stationary duel block or portable duel disks.
The mod uses an innovative manual duel simulator system that creates the feeling of a live battle without traditional top or bottom menus.
Settings and Customization
In the configuration, you can adjust card and pack image sizes depending on computer performance, set limits for simultaneously loaded images, enable display of real images for all cards (requires a powerful PC), configure duel animation durations, and adjust duel chat size.
The mod supports creating custom cards and packs through the ydm_db folder. For reference on creating your own content, refer to the project's source code. Important: custom cards must be added to both client and server, as automatic downloading from the server is not provided.
Image Handling Features
By default, custom cards and packs do not contain images to save performance. If you want to add images, configure the appropriate settings in the configuration. After this, the game will start downloading images. The completion process can be tracked through the ydm_db_images folder. If the computer cannot handle the load, reduce image resolution or disable this feature.
Using Duel Disks
To use a duel disk, place it in your offhand. To start a duel, right-click on an opponent, who must respond with a mutual action to confirm the challenge.
Card data is provided by the ygoprodeck.com resource through their public database.
