Immerse Yourself in a World of Unusual Creatures

The YDM's WeirdMobs modification radically transforms your gaming world by adding 31 completely new creatures with 56 different variations, as well as unique items and equipment. Most of these mobs possess special abilities that can turn ordinary gameplay into a true survival nightmare.

Dangerous but Useful Creatures

Not everything is as scary as it seems at first glance! Some of these creatures can be tamed, and then they will become your loyal allies in battle. For example, the Blaze Wolf sets its enemies on fire and can be tamed using blaze rods.

The Ender Creeper attacks with incredible speed, but for balance, its explosion is slightly weaker than that of a regular creeper. Wolfmen spawn with iron swords that have a 20% drop chance when killed.

Particular caution should be exercised with Vex Piglins. If more than one such creature is near you, it's better to retreat immediately.

The Most Dangerous Hybrids

What's scarier: a Blaze or a Creeper? Now you don't have to choose, because the Blaze Creeper combines the worst traits of both! It shoots fireballs like a blaze, but if you get too close... I think you can guess what will happen.

And that's far from all the surprises! The other creatures won't let you relax and enjoy a peaceful game either.

Settings and Compatibility

Creature spawn configuration is located at: .minecraft\config\weirdmobs-common.toml

Changes will only take effect when generating a new world.

Full compatibility with other mod biomes through configuration!

You can configure the spawn locations of all creatures in the configuration file.

For each mob, the following settings are available: spawn rate, minimum and maximum quantity, biome name.

Version 1.19 Updates:

• Configurations replaced with json files containing biome tags and modifiers
• Increased health and damage of Warden Dragon

A Fabric version is planned for the future.
