About the Modification
You're in Grave Danger is an incredibly flexible mod that adds graves to the game. When your character dies, a grave appears at the death location containing all your lost items. You can return and retrieve your belongings - and the system remembers the exact inventory layout and restores it when you recover the contents.
The mod stands out for its exceptional customizability. If you think some setting related to the death process is missing - that's not a feature gap, but an actual bug (well, that's how seriously I take customization options).
In multiplayer, you'll easily find your grave - it displays your skin and player name (if you've enabled this option in the settings, of course).
Key Features
The mod is available for versions 1.16.5, 1.17.1, and 1.18! Version 1.18 receives most updates since it's the newest Minecraft version. However, new features are periodically backported to older versions. Issues in earlier versions are also promptly addressed.
The mod strives to be compatible with most, if not all, inventory-affecting mods. Currently compatibility is provided for: inventorio [all versions], trinkets [all versions], curios [1.16], travelers backpack [1.16, 1.17].
Other inventory mods, including backslot, extra inventory and BigInv, are also compatible. The mod works with infinitory too, though this compatibility isn't thoroughly tested. If any of the listed mods don't work correctly, or you know another mod affecting inventory, please report it in the GitHub repository or on the Discord server.
Technically, the mod is compatible with any soulbound enchantments, since you can configure which enchanted items shouldn't go to the grave upon death, and which should remain in your inventory upon respawning.
Graves can be waterlogged, and their appearance adapts to the block they're placed on.
In all versions, graves can be fully customized using resource packs. This affects the block hitbox, render parts, the grave skull, and text.
Additional features are also available, but some are disabled by default since most players probably don't want them.
