YUNG's Better Caves

What is this?

The YUNG's Better Caves mod completely redesigns the cave system in Minecraft. Caves appear modest and unassuming on the surface, but the deeper you descend, the more amazing things await you. You'll discover massive lava chambers, underground lakes and rivers, flooded caves, and much more!

This powerful and customizable mod offers dozens of configuration options with support for individual settings for different dimensions. Detailed information on how to use the advanced settings can be found in the project's wiki.

Compatibility

The YUNG's Better Caves mod is designed for maximum compatibility with other mods that affect world generation. Known compatibility issues:

Concurrent Chunk Management Engine (C2ME) for version 1.20.1

• Set the [threadedWorldGen].enabled parameter to "false". Otherwise, issues may occur with pockets of lava appearing in water regions. Please note that this applies only to C2ME on version 1.20.1 - for version 1.21.1, this change is not required.
