ZincF is a modification that enriches the Minecraft game world with a new metal - zinc.

Important Information for Players

For users of versions "ZincF Version Alpha 1.0", "ZincF Version Alpha 2.0", "ZincF Version Beta 1.0":

The displayed mod name (when clicking the "Mods" button in Minecraft) is "New Ores", as the original plan was to add many new ores, but this idea proved too labor-intensive.

To obtain items, use the command in chat: /give [Player name] newores:[desired item]

Example: /give PMulberry newores:zincpickaxe

For users of versions "ZincF Version Beta 1.1" and newer:

The displayed mod name is "zincfeatures". To obtain items, use: /give [Player name] zincfeatures:[desired item]

Example: /give PMulberry zincfeatures:zincpickaxe

For all players:

After installing a specific version of the mod, it is recommended to continue playing with that same version, otherwise all items added by the mod may disappear from the world.

Game Features

Item characteristics:

• Zinc tools and weapons are inferior to iron but superior to stone
• Zinc armor is slightly weaker than iron

Ore generation:

• Zinc ore is found at levels from 40 to 120
• On average, about 20 ore clusters generate in each chunk
• Each cluster contains approximately 10 ore units
• Ore appears only on specific types of stone and dirt

Mining and processing:

• Iron pickaxe or better is required to mine zinc ore
• One ore yields one zinc nugget
• Ore can be smelted in a furnace or blast furnace

Crafting:

• Zinc block is created by filling all crafting table slots with zinc nuggets
• One zinc block yields nine nuggets

Dimension portal:

• To create a portal to the Zinc dimension, use zinc blocks in the shape of a Nether portal
• To activate the portal, a zinc stone is required (4 nuggets in a square shape)

Note: The author notes that textures of some items (such as the zinc sword) may not look perfect.
