ABOUT THE MODES

The Zombie Fabrics mod offers a radical change in Minecraft sleep mechanics. Now, zombies and zombie villagers have been turned into occasional fabric providers—pieces of cloth, which is now the only resource that eventually allows you to craft a bed. As a result, crafting a bed on your first creation is impossible—you need to complete at least one night alive! The concept was greatly shaped by the ideas of the Better Than Adventure mod and author's prior project, the Oddities mod exploration plugin. You are not into survivor luck? Fabric may spawn in what used to be dungeon chest placement.

The new item unlocks crafting versatility! Besides bed making, textiles translate into decorative blocks ideal for achieving cozy interiors. Look forward for more innovations, or stitch a flag yourself. Customise with your choice of dyes—flags just may become the go-to example for making Minecraft lands yours!
