Zombie Village Control: Managing Zombie Villages
This Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge mod provides a simple way to control the number of abandoned zombie villages in your world. Using a small configuration file, you can customize the generation parameters of such villages according to your preferences.
Generation Settings
In standard Minecraft, every fiftieth generated village becomes abandoned - it lacks doors, and the population consists exclusively of zombie villagers. This mod allows you to change the probability of such locations appearing, setting any value from one in every five villages to the complete transformation of all settlements into zombie versions.
You can also activate an inverted check, thanks to which ordinary villages will be extremely rare, and most settlements will become abandoned.
Protection for Zombie Villagers
Starting from version 1.1.0, there is an option to prevent zombie villagers from burning in sunlight. This function helps preserve the population of zombie villages, since in the original game they quickly burn under the sun's rays without trying to hide in the shade. Please note that this parameter applies to all zombie villagers, not only those that appeared in abandoned villages.
This modification does not affect the generation frequency or size of settlements - all changes relate exclusively to the probability of their transformation into zombie versions.
Useful Combinations
- To completely disable zombie villages, set the probability to "1 to 1" with inverted check
- To make every settlement abandoned, use the probability "1 to 1" without inversion
