Immerse yourself in the exciting world of Minecraft with completely new superpowers based on mutated genes! Every player starts the game with a unique genetic mutation that has a 25% chance to awaken upon spawning in the world. If your ability doesn't activate automatically, you'll be able to create specialized gene mutators to reveal hidden talents.
Unlock Superpowers Through Various Methods:
Awakening at Birth
When you first appear in the world, there's a basic chance of activating a random ability. The default probability is 25%, but it can be adjusted using the game rule startingPowerChance.
Searching for Mutators
Set out to explore the world and find special laboratory structures. Inside, you'll discover empty injection syringes that can be filled with dragon's breath to create an Unstable Gene Mutator. The device doesn't provide immediate results - conversion to a stable version through smelting guarantees receiving an ability.
Target Creation
Each type of superpower has its own crafting recipe for stabilized mutators using thematic ingredients that reflect the essence of the power.
Available Superpowers
Explore the world and defeat enemies using 13 unique abilities:
Superspeed
Feel the wind in your hair! Components: rabbit's foot, sugar, feather, redstone, stabilized gene mutator.
Flight
Soar above the ground like a bird! Recipe includes: feather, phantom membrane, elytra, ghast tear, stabilized gene mutator.
Sound Manipulation
Control acoustic waves! Ingredients: echo shard, phantom membrane, note block, amethyst shard, stabilized gene mutator.
Pyrokinesis
Master fire! Composition: blaze rod, magma cream, gunpowder, fire charge, stabilized gene mutator.
Geokinesis
Manipulate earth and stones! Requires: clay ball, obsidian, emerald, iron ingot, stabilized gene mutator.
Electrokinesis
Control electricity! Components: lightning rod, glowstone dust, gold ingot, redstone block, stabilized gene mutator.
Gravity Manipulation
Alter the laws of physics! Composition: nether star, end stone, shulker shell, lead, stabilized gene mutator.
Healing Factor
Heal almost instantly! Recipe includes: golden apple, ghast tear, spider eye, totem of undying, stabilized gene mutator.
Teleportation
Move through space! Ingredients: ender pearl, chorus fruit, eye of ender, phantom membrane, stabilized gene mutator.
Superstrength
Lift incredible weights! Composition: iron block, anvil, blaze powder, magma block, stabilized gene mutator.
Darkness Manipulation
Command shadows! Components: obsidian, ender pearl, black dye, wither rose, gene stabilizer.
Space Manipulation
Distort reality itself! Ingredients: nether star, lapis block, ender pearl, dragon's breath, gene mutagen.
Cryokinesis
Master of cold! Recipe includes: ice, packed ice, blue ice, nether star, gene mutator.
Unlimited Possibilities with Support Balance
The superpower system is carefully balanced to significantly expand gameplay possibilities without disrupting game balance. Use the ability limit function (powerLimit gamerule) to set restrictions for servers.
Usage Limitations
- Regular mutators provide one random ability per player
- To get additional abilities, specific mutators must be created
- Only stable mutators provide 100% results
- Incompatibility with Epic Fight mod on servers
- No support for Optifine
