Disabling the Eerie Effect of the Elder Guardian
The modification Cancelled Elder Guardian Jumpscare completely removes from the game the sudden fright caused by the Elder Guardian. Instead of blocking this event entirely, the resource pack uses this approach: it significantly reduces the volume of the fright sound and makes the Elder Guardian itself invisible.
The developer chose such a solution because the texture for the fright effect matches the actual Elder Guardian texture — this gameplay nuance was taken into account when creating the resource pack.
If you still need to battle this creature, you can determine its location by the shadow it casts or use glowing arrows which will illuminate the invisible opponent.
