Custom Wolf Variants (Example Pack)

This datapack and required resource pack demonstrates how to add custom wolf variants to Minecraft version 1.21.4. All necessary files for configuring unique wolves are included in the pack.

Installation Process

First, download and extract the archive. If using a version above 1.21.4, update the pack format. Then navigate to the wolf_variant folder within the datapack - configuration files in JSON format are located there. You need to edit them according to your preferences.

In the resource pack, place textures in the texture/entity/wolf directory, ensuring their names match those specified in the datapack.

How to Obtain Wolves

There are two ways to summon modified wolves in the game: use special commands or travel to the biome specified in the settings and use a spawn egg.
