Eclectic Sounds?!
This project integrates over 400 completely new sounds into Minecraft, covering practically all existing sound categories (except music). It touches upon atmospheric effects, block sounds, entities, player actions, items, and much more!
Does not require installation of additional mods, yet provides extended compatibility with popular modifications — detailed information is provided below.
The resource pack creates optimally comfortable gaming conditions, with many users noting that it enhances overall gameplay quality :)
The sole and key objective of this project is enriching Minecraft's auditory experience, therefore there are exclusively audio modifications. For a preview of the latest version, use this YouTube video.
Brief Project History
All sounds integrated into the pack are borrowed from other games, including Dying Light, the Mario Bros series, Guild Wars, Bioshock, and many other projects. This resource pack originated as a simple replacement of the keyboard typing sound from the ExtraSounds mod. Over time, I began experimenting with other sound effects, and the results turned out quite interesting. Currently, I meticulously select and refine each individual sound included in the pack, as I personally enjoy doing this work.
Compatibility with Mods!
Yes, this is not a typo — the resource pack supports third-party mods. In fact, that's exactly how development of this project began :p. The decision to use these mods remains yours, but note that without them you risk missing out on a significant portion of the experience. As of the latest version, the following are supported:
Forge (tested, but not thoroughly):
- [Presence Footsteps]()
- [Fabrication & Forgery]()
- [Pop!]() (same functionality as Make Bubbles Pop)
- [Sound Physics Remastered](), or any other sound physics modification
Important Usage Information
Key points to consider regarding potential issues when using the sound pack:
- For the time being, I do not recommend combining with the [Drip sounds fabric]() mod. When used together, rain might produce a metallic quality. I have already notified developers about this issue, and they are actively working on a solution. The corresponding report can be found [here]().
- Server owners don't always account for players using sound packs when configuring server sound nodes for minigames and other activities. This may potentially cause certain complications when using my resource pack on servers, especially PvP platforms. As the resource pack creator, I realistically cannot fix such problems and cannot guarantee support for specific servers.
- Each new version of the archive includes a text file called "overview.txt". This document lists all changes introduced in the latest update, every sound that has been modified by the pack, plus additional information about the resource pack.
