Generation 4

This resource pack is compatible exclusively with the Generations modification. It includes all necessary files to display fourth-generation Pokemon in detailed HD models, while also providing the ability to obtain them in-game. The resource pack functions on both platforms: Fabric and NeoForge. For maximum convenience, we recommend using our modpacks, which allow you to install everything needed, including this and other resource packs, with one click.

Pokemon Models and Animations

Immerse yourself in the world of Pokemon in Minecraft with highly detailed polygonal models. Our team has spent over two years developing our own rendering engine called RareCandy, which ensures smooth gameplay and seamless integration with Cobblemon. Explore the game with fully animated models, including various states: basic idle, walking, running/flying, attacking, sleeping, roaring, losing, and joyful emotions!

Expanded Pokedex

With Generations, you gain access to the vast world of Pokemon through complete Pokedex integration into Cobblemon – from the first to the ninth generation inclusive. The working mechanism is simple: Cobblemon already contains the basic files and data about all Pokemon species, so we merely activate them, create spawn information – and voila! Magic happens!

Installation and Configuration Process

For users new to modifications, we strongly recommend using our ready-made modpacks. Two versions are available: for Forge and Fabric. If you have difficulty choosing, refer to our getting started guide on the project website.

Modpacks are typically installed with one button click, allowing you to start playing quickly. Simply download the Modrinth application, find Generations in the modpacks section, and execute the installation!

For those who prefer manual installation: download all dependencies listed on the downloads page and place them in the mods folder along with the Generations file.

Configuration is not required, however if you want to customize the gameplay to your preferences, review the settings guide on our website. If questions arise, you can always join our Discord server or study the getting started instructions in the project wiki.

About Our Team

Our team was previously known as developers of the Pixelmon Generations modification for version 1.12.2. Over more than six years of development, our project has gathered millions of downloads. Generations in the updated format strives to transfer all familiar features of the classic Pixelmon Generations to modern Minecraft with Cobblemon.
