ItemBound [16x]

Welcome to the world of ItemBound — a unique Minecraft resource pack that opens up endless customization possibilities for you! With this pack, you can completely transform the appearance of items simply by changing their names or adding enchantments. You already have access to over 1600 ready-made item textures at your disposal!

What is ItemBound?

Divider

The creation of this resource pack began back in 2014 with the discovery of MCpatcher's capabilities. The main idea was to create a universal set of textures that would allow players to use various item "camouflage" options while maintaining all the benefits of vanilla gameplay. The resource pack works perfectly for both single-player games and multiplayer servers.

Resource Pack Features

Statistics: The pack currently contains 1681 different item textures!

Technical Requirements: For proper operation, OptiFine version 1.11.2 HD U C2 or higher is required. The texture swapping mechanics are based on the CIT system built into this mod.

To take full advantage of all customization options, download the crafting guide for versions 1.13 and above. For convenient document viewing, we recommend using a program with bookmark support, such as Acrobat Reader.

Unique Features

Features

Explore the special section of the pack dedicated to custom loot tables! It includes:

  • Mob drops (creeper hides, zombie pigman bacon, cursed witch diamonds)
  • Rebalanced fishing system with exotic fish species
  • Unique marine creatures, some of which can apply special effects to the player

It's worth noting that loot items can be crafted on anvils, but specialized effects are only available through loot tables or commands.

The pack is fully compatible with other resource packs that use standard item models. For best results, it's recommended to place ItemBound at the very top of the active resource packs list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Is OptiFine installation mandatory? Answer: Yes, without OptiFine the pack won't work. The mod is completely safe — problems may only occur if you click on ads. Wait for the timer to end and click "Skip ad", or use a mirror link.

Question: Can a version without OptiFine or for other platforms be made? Answer: This is currently impossible.

Question: How do I install loot tables? Answer: Open the archive and move the loot_tables folder to the data directory of your game save.

Question: The pack isn't working — what should I do? Answer: Make sure that "Custom Item Textures" is enabled in the graphics settings. Also remember to rename items according to the instructions in the crafting guide.

Question: Can I suggest a new item texture? Answer: We'll definitely consider your suggestion! However, note that some items (such as horse equipment, arrows, maps, and most blocks) cannot be modified.

Additional: Newer versions of OptiFine support texture customization for beacons, enchanting tables, furnaces, and other blocks, but this feature is not available in multiplayer.
