Extensive Content from the Minecraft Universe
As a child, every Minecraft update felt like a celebration! However, new features didn't appear very often. Then projects like Minecraft Story Mode added additional lore elements beyond the main game, which sparked great interest in potential mobs and items.
Unfortunately, content from spin-offs never made it into the main game. It was precisely the lack of storyline and lore depth in original Minecraft compared to projects like Minecraft Dungeons or Mc Legends that inspired the creation of Barely Default.

Instead of complaining about the amount of content updates for a game purchased once, I decided to take matters into my own hands and gather all canonical Minecraft elements in the most vanilla implementation possible.
What Barely Default Represents
Created after my first resource pack in 2011, now known as Barely Default contains carefully selected content from all official Minecraft universes!

In addition, Barely Default graphically updates style elements that have fallen behind the development of Minecraft's overall visual design over the years. I take the most beautiful and detailed boundaries of the vanilla style and apply them everywhere they are needed.
