MYTHOS
Introduction
Greetings! I'm ProbsWinter, a modeling enthusiast and regular player of Wynncraft. While I thoroughly enjoy playing on this server, I've noticed one particular aspect - many items use identical models. Of course, the models themselves look great, but when high-tier equipment visually resembles common gear, it loses that special appeal. Wouldn't it be fantastic to have more variety? This is exactly what I decided to change by taking up modeling.
Over two years, I've created several resource packs that have become the foundation of the MYTHOS project. You might notice inconsistencies in the quality of some models - this is because MYTHOS is still under active development. I'm putting all my efforts into updating all models and making each Mythic item's appearance truly unique.
This is a fan-made resource pack for Wynncraft, and I'm not affiliated with the server's development team.
About the Project
MYTHOS is an unofficial Wynncraft resource pack that continues to evolve. Its main goal is to breathe new life into items familiar to Wynncraft players. The project applies unique 3D models to many Mythic items and lower-tier equipment.
Required Modifications
- CIT Resewn is required for some versions of this pack to function
- There are also versions adapted for Variants-CIT - these are marked with [VCIT] in the pack name
- To prevent MYTHOS models from being overridden by the server resource pack, install Server Pack Unlocker and place MYTHOS above the original Wynncraft pack in your resource pack list
- Wynntils is highly recommended (though not required) to use with this pack - its Spell Cast Message Overlay function prevents model application failures during spell casting. This mod also enhances the overall gaming experience on Wynncraft
- The pack has no official Optifine support but may theoretically work with it. However, it's recommended to use it with CITR or VCIT depending on the installed version
