Polish Cyrillic

This resource pack adds a completely new language variant to the game - Polish language written using Cyrillic characters. To activate it, simply go to the language selection menu and find the "Полски (Полска)" option, which will be located next to the standard Polish language.

Transcription Method

Transcription system that converts Polish to Cyrillic script

The transcription system is primarily based on the Russian alphabet with the following key transformations:

• Polish letter ł is converted to ў
• Letters ą and ę become ѧ and ѫ respectively (with ѩ and ѭ after iotation)
• Polish ó is replaced with у
• Combinations ch become х, h becomes г
• Letter g is displayed as ґ
• Combinations rz are transcribed as ж
• Complex Polish sounds dż and drz become дж
• Sounds dz, dź and ć become дз, дзь and ть

The system includes additional exceptions to ensure transcription sounds as natural as possible. For example, the word "minecraft" is converted to "майнкрафт" instead of the literal "минэцрафт".
