Southern Railway S15: British Steam Locomotive for Immersive Railroading
Meet the S15 class - a notable British freight steam locomotive with a 4-6-0 wheel arrangement and two-cylinder power system. Designer Robert W. Urie created this model based on his earlier developments of the H15 and N15 classes. The production of these locomotives spanned many years: manufacturing began in 1920 and concluded only by 1936.
The first units entered service with the London and South Western Railway (LSWR). Here they primarily handled freight transportation to southern coast ports and in the western direction to Exeter. In addition to their main duties, locomotives of this class were occasionally used for passenger services, operating together with N15 class locomotives equipped with larger diameter wheels.
This resource pack adds the SR S15 model to the Immersive Railroading modification. The installed version of Immersive Railroading is required for the pack to function properly.
