Spectral
A concise 16x16 resource pack that combines recognizable style with unique details.

Spectral is designed to preserve Minecraft's familiar atmosphere while adding warm visual accents. This project is not an adaptation of standard textures - every detail is developed from scratch separately. Although the appearance of some blocks differs significantly from their vanilla counterparts, all changes fit harmoniously into the game's overall style.
Despite being actively developed, the resource pack's current capabilities allow for seamless integration of finished elements with unprocessed standard Minecraft textures.
For full immersion, using Optifine is recommended, but even without it, the project looks high-quality and cohesive.
Important Development Status Note
Spectral is still far from complete. Many blocks await redesign, textures have only been implemented for a few entities, and items have minimal development.
I work on the project in my free time, so updates are irregular. Nevertheless, Spectral already gives the game world a completely new, memorable feel.
Features and Capabilities
- Redesigned most naturally generated blocks in the Overworld
- Double slabs of certain types receive unique textures different from single variants
- Implemented texture variety, particularly noticeable in grass cover
- Adjusted color maps for grass and foliage, improving visual perception
Development Plans
In addition to gradually processing all game elements (blocks, items, interfaces), future plans include:
- Creating unique textures for all types of double slabs
- Expanding the texture variation system with emphasis on plants and natural elements
- (POSSIBLY) developing an additional CIT pack for item customization (long-term perspective)
Add-ons
For Spectral, the following additional packs are available:
- Legacy Planks: returns crimson and jungle wooden planks to their original colors from previous game versions
Mod Compatibility
Currently, Spectral does not support any modifications, and such possibility in the future is not guaranteed. Development is handled by one person in free time, and I already have enough plans for the main project's development.
If you want to create an addon that adds mod support to Spectral, please contact me - I'm willing to provide permission to use the resource pack's assets if necessary!
