Tears & Cheers - Ghast Revamp
With the release of update 1.21 in Minecraft, the Happy Ghast appeared, featuring textures twice as detailed compared to the original. However, the author of this modification believed that this additional space could be used much more interestingly—to give both types of Ghasts a unique visual appearance, which became the foundation for creating this resource pack.
What has changed in the pack:
-
Both Ghasts now have eyes positioned lower and further apart from each other, as well as additional details made possible by the increased texture resolution.
-
Now the Happy and Regular Ghasts are visually distinct:
- The Happy Ghast has a faint bluish tint, symbolizing its moisture-rich habitat. Its expression has become more cheerful, and tear marks are completely absent.
- The Nether Ghast appears more dried out and wrinkled, reflecting the influence of the Nether's arid climate. Its appearance conveys a sad, depressed mood.
-
The Dried Ghast has now received a unique texture as an item.
Important feature: This resource pack is fully compatible with game versions before 1.21.6, where it will only change the texture of the regular Ghast.
