Beyond Belief Legacy
Minecraft Version Compatibility
I want to clarify an important point regarding compatibility: this shaderpack works with any Minecraft version that has the shaders mod or Optifine installed. The information about "supported Minecraft versions" on Modrinth does not apply to shaders.
Development History
The development of Beyond Belief shaders (also known as Bbepc/BBL) started in August 2015 by Daniel Rodriguez Moya. The author granted me permission to update this shader and publish it here for public access. Important note: the shader does not work on Mac computers and with Intel graphics cards.
Key Features
The added features make this pack truly unique. One of the outstanding characteristics is the wet effect - during rain, tiles begin to reflect light in a completely new way. Special visualization settings are provided for each dimension, allowing for maximum atmosphere.
Almost all functions can be easily turned on and off thanks to a convenient toggle system. Clouds have volumetric effects, giving the sky incredible depth. The motion blur function has been added to create cinematic movement quality.
The color rendering of lighting deserves special attention - both daytime and nighttime. It has become softer and more natural, pleasant to the eyes. Water has been significantly improved and now looks more realistic and dynamic. Leaves on trees and clouds move more smoothly, creating a calm atmosphere.
Anime fans should note the presence of the cel-shading function, which gives the game a hand-drawn graphic style. Custom display settings and tonemapping from bbvr have also been added.
Known Issues
When using the werewolf mode from the Witchery mod, some visual artifacts with lens flares and haze may occur. During blood moons from the Random Things mod, the red effect may not display correctly, and at certain heights the screen may turn black. In version 1.12, textures from the Conquest pack may load with distortions (this issue has not been tested on older versions).
