BVSF

Hello! I'm LoLip_p - developer of the BVS shader that preserves Minecraft's vanilla style. Although BVS is quite performant, some users with even weaker computers needed a faster solution. That's why I created a new shader version: BVSF (F stands for Fast). This is a faster but less functional version of BVS, excluding effects such as depth of field (DoF), screen space reflections (SSR), physically based rendering (PBR), and others. With this version, you'll be able to squeeze out significantly more frames per second compared to the regular version!

Performance: 360+ FPS

Testing was conducted on the following configuration:

• 2K resolution (2560x1440)
• 10 chunks
• GPU: RX 580 (8GB)
• CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X

Installing Shaders

1. Download a client that supports installing shaders (such as Optifine or Iris)
2. Download the shaders
3. Copy shaders to /.minecraft/shaderpacks folder
4. Launch Minecraft, go to Options → Video Settings → Shaders
5. Select BVSF - Best Vanilla Shader (FAST)
