VHS Overlay - Old Video Recording Effects

This unique shader recreates the atmosphere of legendary VHS videotapes right in your game. You'll get an authentic overlay with the characteristic "REC" mark in the corner of the screen, along with date and time simulating the recording process.

Additional effects immerse you in retro atmosphere:

• Film grain creates the characteristic noise of old recordings
• Scan lines reproduce the television effect
• Chroma shift adds color distortions of real VHS tapes

It's important to note that all overlays work in real time and change dynamically - one of the key features of this modification. The time and date on the display simulate recording chronology, not your computer's actual indicators.

The shader requires one of the compatible mods: popular OptiFine or modern Iris combined with Sodium.
